Episode 114 – Milk & Cereal

Aah, I could talk cereal for hours. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Raisin Nut Bran, Honey Bunches of Oats, and especially the divine Blueberry Muffin Tops. I ate cereal for breakfast during most of my childhood and I loved it. I practically quit having breakfast as I got older due to working but I’ve recently gotten back into cereal. And I have to say, it’s good to be back.

Part of the reason I made this episode is because one of my brothers had two favorite cereals when we were kids; Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Grape Nuts. I understand his obsession with C.T.C. but every time I eat Grape Nuts I feel like someone is pulling a lame prank on me. That’s not even getting into the fact that his two favorite cereals were polar opposites. But, he always was the weird brother…

The song during the credits is called “Milk & Cereal” by G. Love & Special Sauce. I can’t figure out what album the song is actually from (EDIT – It’s from Front Porch Loungin’) but I highly recommend the self titled album I just linked to. The songs “Cold Beverage” and “Baby’s got Sauce” are both great. And don’t let the band name turn you off, they make great music.

Narc’s t-shirt is a Dethklok shirt. I actually made a shirt just like that when Metalocalypse first came out because you couldn’t buy one. It had the Dethklok logo on the front and a banana sticker on the back. You could buy my version for a while but it eventually got pulled due to copyright infringement being too awesome, or something like that. But you can still buy official shirts if you’re into the show.
